  • The Provence landings memorial recalls Le Muy's key role during Operation Dragoon on 15 August 1944, when thousands of Allied paratroopers jumped over the commune. Commemorative monuments, plaques and a local museum bear witness to this decisive episode in the liberation of France.
  • The Pennafort gorges, a few kilometres away, are a spectacular natural site where the Endre river has carved bright red porphyry cliffs. This Provençal canyon, accessible on foot, also shelters an 11th-century Romanesque chapel and natural pools very popular in summer.
  • The Côtes de Provence vineyards surrounding Le Muy produce rosés and reds recognised worldwide. Many wine estates open their cellars to visitors for tastings, particularly around the Les Arcs-sur-Argens appellation.
  • The Estérel massif, about fifteen kilometres away, is a volcanic massif of blood-red rocks plunging into the blue sea, one of the most photographed landscapes on the Côte d'Azur. Its coastal paths and wild coves are accessible from Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël.
  • Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël, 20 km away, offer a lively Mediterranean coastline with beaches, remarkable Roman remains at Fréjus and an intense seaside life in summer. Both towns are easily accessible from Le Muy by motorway or main road.
